Barnsley Full-Time Year 5/6 Teacher

Trust Education are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in the Barnsley area to recruit a full-time Year 5/6 Teacher from Easter until the end of the academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and adaptable teacher to join a welcoming school with a strong focus on pupil progress and high expectations. The role would suit an experienced KS2 teacher or a strong ECT looking to gain valuable upper Key Stage 2 experience.

The role:

You will be responsible for teaching a mixed Year 5/6 class, delivering engaging and purposeful lessons in line with the national curriculum. The role includes planning, preparation, assessment, and supporting pupils as they prepare for the transition into secondary education.

We are looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Has experience teaching in Upper KS2 (Year 5 and/or Year 6)
