The Role We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages to our customers while delivering exceptional customer service. Your knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, attention to detail, and ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere will contribute to an enjoyable coffee experience for our customers and members. Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on customer preferences and our menu. Maintaining a clean and organised bar area according to established guidelines and ensuring all supplies are well-stocked. Handling cash transactions and accurately processing payments. Engaging with customers, building rapport, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations. Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively to ensure smooth operations. Stay updated on industry trends, new coffee blends, and brewing techniques. Participate in training sessions to expand knowledge of coffee varieties and flavour profiles. Requirements: Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and coffee preparation techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
