Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our front-of-house bar operations. You will be responsible for overseeing daily bar service, managing staff, maintaining stock and supplies, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead bar staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling, ensuring a motivated and professional team. Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction Maintain inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective purchasing. Monitor financial performance, including budgets, cost control, and sales reporting. Develop and implement marketing campaigns to drive foot traffic, increase brand visibility, and boost sales. Create and maintain drink menus, including seasonal offerings and promotions Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally Monitor bar costs and control wastage to meet profitability targets Organize events, tastings, and promotions to boost engagement and revenue Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements. Build strong community relations and leverage customer feedback to enhance the guest experience. Key Requirements Proven experience in the licensed trade or a fast-paced hospitality environment preferrable but not essential. An understanding of bar operations, including scheduling, inventory, and cost control highly desirable but not essential. Ability to increase sales through targeted marketing strategies and promotional campaigns. Excellent leadership, communication, team management, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of social media marketing and customer engagement techniques. Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers preferable but not essential Ability to manage inventory and ordering systems Financial acumen with the ability to interpret sales reports and optimize profitability.
