We are recruiting on behalf of a luxury, family-owned country house hotel set within beautiful Hertfordshire countryside just outside London. Our client is seeking a passionate Banqueting Chef de Partie to join their culinary team and deliver high-quality dishes for a wide range of events and functions. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role where you will support the preparation and delivery of banqueting menus for weddings, corporate events, and private functions, ensuring exceptional standards of consistency, presentation, and timing. Key Responsibilities Prepare and present high-quality dishes for large-scale banqueting events Support smooth kitchen operations across high-volume service periods Maintain food quality, consistency, and cost control standards Assist with guest queries in a timely and professional manner Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams About You NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-end or luxury environment Experience in large-scale events such as weddings and corporate functions Strong understanding of high-volume food production and mise en place Team-focused, organised, and able to work efficiently under pressure Passionate about delivering high-quality cuisine in a fast-paced setting The Opportunity Join a luxury hospitality environment offering excellent training and development, staff meals, parking, and generous discounts across food, accommodation, and spa facilities, along with additional holiday benefits
