Options Autism are hiring Residential Night Care Worker – Young People in the Perthshire region!

Role:  Bank Residential Childcare Worker

Salary: £15 per hour plus sleep-in rate of £60 (if required)

Hours:  Flexible - Bank Contract, 40 hours per week.

Shifts: A mixture of early (07:30 - 14:30), late (14:00-22:00) and double (07:30-22:00) shifts are available.

Location: Perth, Perthshire

About us

The Falkland House School Perth offers accommodation for up to 24 young people. The service is situated just minutes walk from the city centre in an idyllic location overlooking the Tay and Perth.  Specialising in providing care to children and young people aged between 12 and 19. Our services apply to a wide range of emotional and behavioural difficulties, including young people with Autism, ADHD and Tourette’s Syndrome.

The Role:
As a Bank Care Worker, you will:

• Provide direct care and support to students throughout the school day and residential periods, focusing on engagement and providing enriching experiences.
• Assist with daily routines, activities, and emotional wellbeing.
• Work closely with the team to ensure a positive and safe environment.
• Offer flexibility to cover shifts as needed, supporting the smooth running of our school community.
