Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Community Consultant Paediatrician to join our friendly community paediatrics team based at Chalk Hill Primary Care Centre in Brent, North West London. Our clinics are delivered at Wembley Centre for Health, Willesden Centre for Health, and on site in a special school in Brent.

Post Details

This post is for an 8‑P A role. Candidates are expected to be on the GMC specialist Register in paediatrics with CCT/CCST in Community Paediatrics, or to be UK specialist trainees within 6 months of CCT/CCST/CESR at date of interview.

Responsibilities

• Cover clinical activities such as general and specialist CDT clinics, triaging referrals, MDT clinical discussions, child protection medical assessments, and EHCP medical assessments.
• Provide appropriate clinical administration time and support.
• Deliver teaching and training (departmental teaching for residents and colleagues, educational and clinical supervision, teaching medical or other clinical students, and regional meetings).
• Lead management and leadership activities including QI, service development, clinical governance, and Lead Consultant roles as per interests and service requirements.
