Bank Dental Officer - Epidemiology

1-2 days per week by arrangement; pay on an hourly basis

£33.45 per hour + mileage rate 45p per mile

Please note: The advertised hourly rate includes a 12.07% statutory uplift as payment in lieu of annual leave, in line with regulations for bank workers.

Main duties of the job

Nottinghamshire CDS CIC are conducting a dental census survey of 5-year-old children within Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County primary schools. The survey aims to measure the prevalence and severity of dental caries among these children.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic dentists to join the epidemiology fieldwork examining team, involved in examining and collecting dental data from participating children.

Previous epidemiology experience is helpful but not essential. All training will be provided on the national protocol and clinical criteria as part of calibration in the East Midlands.

This is a unique opportunity to participate in a dental census programme.
