Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C# .NET SQL) – London onsite This role is offered by Client Server.

Collaborate with highly intelligent technologists and finance professionals to develop algorithmic trading systems. Partner with Quant teams to architect valuation, risk, and pricing systems. Deliver massively scalable, high‑performance streaming compute operations. Take technical ownership and drive projects from day one.

Location / WFH Full‑time office based in Soho, London. Facilities include balanced breakfast, lunch, all‑day snacks. Work from home not available. About you

You have an outstanding record of academic achievement – minimum 2.1 in a STEM discipline from a top tier university, backed by A grades at A‑level. You have advanced C# .NET programming skills including .NET Core (will also consider Java, Python or C++ background if you are happy to use C# going forward). You have a strong knowledge of SQL databases. You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms. You are entrepreneurial with good business acumen, keen to take ownership and lead projects. You are collaborative, enjoy problem solving and sharing ideas.
