Altura is a hospitality agency supplying Back of House staff to some of London’s top venues, events, and corporate clients. We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Chefs and Kitchen Porters to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced kitchen environments and want flexible work across a variety of shifts and venues.
Key responsibilities:
* Assisting with food preparation and kitchen operations
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas
* Supporting chefs and kitchen teams during busy service periods
* Washing dishes, equipment, and utensils (Kitchen Porters)
* Following health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
* Working efficiently as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
Roles include:
* Chefs (all levels)
* Kitchen Porters
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred (restaurants, hotels, banqueting, or events)
* Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
* Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen standards
* Reliable, punctual, and a team player
* Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
Food hygiene certificates and allergens training are an added bonus and may lead to additional work opportunities.
