INSIDE IR35 CONTRACT
ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider, assisting them with the search for a AWS Consultant on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the migration of virtual machines and workloads from legacy infrastructure into AWS using migration tooling and automation
Design and implement AWS infrastructure components including networking, compute, and storage in line with high-level architecture
Establish and maintain multi-account AWS environments with appropriate governance, monitoring, and access controls
Collaborate with security and networking teams to ensure secure connectivity, encryption, and edge protection throughout the migration lifecycle
Contribute to post-migration optimisation activities, including service refinement, cost efficiency, and operational readiness
AWS Landing Zone enhancements in line with customer requests. Capturing of design changes in alignment
Migration of pilot resources from on-premises environment to AWS Landing Zone
Key Skills:
Strong hands on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, EBS, IAM, and CloudWatch
Proven experience delivering cloud migrations using tools such as AWS MGN or similar replication technologies
Solid understanding of networking concepts including segmented environments, routing, and hybrid connectivity
Knowledge of cloud security principles including identity management, encryption (KMS), and threat detection tools (e.g., GuardDuty, Security Hub)
Ability to work in fast paced environments with evolving requirements and tight delivery timelines.
