Job Description:

Fuels & Low Carbon Technology (F&LCT) is a diverse team of over 300 technologists, scientists, and engineers driving innovation to support bp’s Fuels, Refining, Bioenergy, and Hydrogen businesses. We also back the Technology group through Innovation Management, Modelling, Digital Science, and academic research. Within F&LCT, the Refining and Advanced Fuels Technology (R&AFT) team of 120+ professionals collaborate closely with business units to ensure fuel quality throughout the entire supply chain—from refineries and third-party suppliers to customers and product lines. As the fuel landscape evolves towards the energy transition, we develop differentiated fuel products, including an increasing portfolio of bio-based fuels, and lead technical programs to safely integrate renewable feedstocks into refinery operations.

We are excited to offer the position of Aviation Quality Manager . In this role, you will lead a team of Aviation Fuel Technologists overseeing Product Quality (PQ) and Research & Development efforts covering conventional and low carbon renewable aviation fuels. Your focus will be on compliance, customer-centric quality assurance, and advancing innovative, sustainable fuel solutions. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Global Aviation & Product Quality Assurance.

As Aviation Quality Manager, you will be a key member of a global team responsible for ensuring that aviation fuel meets stringent quality and safety standards from manufacture to aircraft wingtip. You will lead your team in collaborating with Technology and Business groups to maintain fuel quality across worldwide supply chains and support bp’s net zero goals through R&D initiatives.
