Position Responsibilities: -------------------------- - Safely rack and unrack customer vehicles (and know what to do if a vehicle appears to be unsafe for the lift) - Inspect and repair vehicle automotive systems - Remove and reinstall Transmission systems of different makes and models - Assist other technicians in performing technical activities as needed - Perform general maintenance of motor vehicles, which includes, but is not limited to brakes, fluids, suspension, and upkeep repairs. - Provide general explanation of problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians - Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, purchase tools and repair techniques to improve technical skills - Daily inspection of work areas for improvements - Maintain shop cleanliness - Notify shop manager of stock or tool needs as they deplete - Experience troubleshooting and conducting both mechanical (Electrical is a Plus)

Job Requirements: ----------------- - Minimum of 4+ years experience working as a Builder/General Automotive Technician/R&R Tech. - Hold a valid driver’s license - Own professional grade tools to service general repair and R&R - Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment - Attention to detail and ability to determine addition needs during vehicle service - Ability to lift or team lift heavy automotive components (or determine if a lift will require assistance) - Daily on-time attendance (8AM - 5PM or 7AM to 4PM | Monday - Friday (Saturday's as needed)
