£40,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + Company Van

A well-established security manufacturer specialising in high-security automated gate systems is expanding its Northern engineering team and is looking for an Automatic Gate & Barrier Engineer to cover Leeds and surrounding areas.

This is a field-based service and repair role, working on a range of automated gate and perimeter security systems across commercial sites.

Key Duties of the Gate & Barrier Engineer

* Service and repair automatic gate systems

* Maintain traffic barriers, bollards and security blockers

* Diagnose faults on gate automation and control systems

* Carry out force testing and safety checks

* Replace motors, control boards and safety devices

* Ensure systems meet safety and compliance standards

* Provide professional on-site customer support

Key Skills & Background

* Experience working with automatic gates or barriers

* Strong electrical fault finding skills

* Knowledge of gate automation systems

* Comfortable working in a field-based role

* Good understanding of safety standards

* Full UK driving licence

* Experience with brands such as FAAC, CAME, BFT, Nice or similar automation systems would be advantageous.

Pay, Benefits and Working hours

* £40,000 – £45,000 basic salary

* Door-to-door

* Overtime 1.5 x

* Company van, Mobile phone, fuel card

* Regional working

* 42.5 hours per week
