Our client is seeking a skilled Automatic Door Engineer to join their growing field team.

Youll work across London and the South, completing installations, servicing and repairs on a wide range of automatic door systems.

Any additional exposure to gates, industrial doors, roller shutters or barriers would also be highly advantageous.

This role suits a confident engineer with strong technical knowledge, excellent fault-finding ability and the ability to deliver professional, efficient service on commercial sites.

Supported by advanced scheduling software, proactive van re-stocking and a fully equipped vehicle, youll have everything you need to deliver first-time fixes and high-quality work.

Job Description Install, service and maintain a wide range of commercial automatic door systems.

Conduct fault-finding, repairs and upgrades in line with industry standards.

Deliver professional customer service, liaising with clients to arrange and complete work safely and efficiently.

Produce accurate job reports, RAMS documentation and follow safe working practices.

Maintain company vehicle, stock levels and equipment to required standards.

Participate in the 1-in-12 call-out rota to support out-of-hours requirements.

Person Specification Essential: Strong experience working with automatic doors installation, repairs and planned maintenance.

Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Ability to work independently in a field-based role.

Strong awareness of health & safety and safe working procedures.

Confident communicator with good customer-facing capabilities.

Full UK driving licence.

Desirable: ADSA or BS EN16005 certification.

Experience with gates, industrial doors, roller shutters, barriers or access control systems.

Experience in commercial or high-security environments.

Competence in minor associated fabric works following installations.

Salary, Package & Benefits £22£24/hr (£4550K basic) for a 40-hour week, paid door-to-door .

Overtime: 1.5x (evenings) and 2x (overnights/weekends).

£250 call-out bonus on a 1-in-12 rota.
