What you’ll be doing

Supporting children with Autism with daily classroom tasks. Provide support with communication, routines and engagement
Using visuals, sensory strategies and structured approaches that help pupils access learning
Offering reassurance during transitions or emotionally tricky moments
Working closely with teachers and therapists to provide stable, consistent support
Encouraging independence, confidence and positive social interactions
Celebrating progress in ways that feel meaningful to each pupil
Who we’re looking for

Experience with Autism is a bonus, but not essential
Someone calm, observant and able to adapt to individual needs
A patient communicator who builds trust through warmth and consistency
A team player who enjoys learning new strategies and approaches
A genuine interest in SEND and supporting pupils who learn differently

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
