Autism Support - Leeds\n\nWe are currently working with a range of schools within the Leeds area who are looking to for multiple Autism Support Assistants with previous experience working with Autism and other special educational learning needs.\n\nThroughout this role as an autism support, you will be required to support learners on a 1:1 basis in class, and to help within small groups of two to seven learners as well. The day-to-day support isn't just focused on supporting learners academically, throughout the day there will be focus on assisting them with both their social and behavioural needs too.\n\nThe aim of this role is to help ensure that both the social and learning aspect of education are made accessible for all learners no matter what needs or challenges they may face.\n\nWithin these specific school settings, there are several vacancies across both the primary and secondary sites, however due to the various needs of the children and how the educational site runs, the ideal candidate would be someone who could work well and be adaptable to children of all ages.
