We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Associate with at least two years’ post-qualification experience in external audit to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality financial audits and contributing to meaningful public reporting. The Role Reporting directly to an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of audit assignments. Your work will span financial audits and may also include public sector reporting engagements. Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality audits in line with established professional and organisational standards Develop and apply effective audit methodologies Support and participate in audit fieldwork, ensuring assignments are completed on schedule Analyse and summarise audit evidence to support findings Prepare clear, accurate, and concise audit documentation and reports Draw well-reasoned conclusions and provide practical, value-adding recommendations Build and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders, addressing challenges proactively Plan and manage your workload in line with audit plans and deadlines Stay up to date with industry developments and actively engage in ongoing professional development
About You
Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in external audit (non-negotiable) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines A proactive approach to learning and professional growth
