As an Audit Senior, you will play an important part in delivering high-quality audit services to a wonderfully varied mix of clients. You will work with owner-managed businesses, sole traders, companies, and partnerships across sectors such as charities, manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality. This role is a great opportunity to build lasting client relationships while growing your expertise in auditing standards and best practice. We are open to this role being based at any of our offices across the South West, including Swindon, Bath, Trowbridge, Cirencester, Chippenham, Bristol and Taunton. Key Responsibilities
Actively engaging with clients to gain a thorough understand of their business. Act as point of contact for clients during audit engagements, building and maintaining strong relationships. Lead audit engagements for a portfolio of clients, including planning, execution and finalisation. Identifying risk areas and finalising all areas of audit assignments under manager/partner supervision. Assisting junior team members, reviewing their work and ensuring audit objectives are met. Ensuring compliance with external audit requirements.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Qualified Accountant: ACA/ACCA or equivalent Audit Practice Experience: experience in an audit and accounts practice, including an understanding of regulatory obligations and quality standards. Risk Assessment: experience in identifying and assessing risks and implementing effective controls. Client Management: Strong client relationship management skills, able to build and maintain long-term relationships.
