Overview A respected and long-established accountancy firm in Weybridge is seeking an Audit Manager to join their team. Working closely with the Partners, you’ll oversee a portfolio of audit clients while leading and supporting a team of auditors. Key Responsibilities Lead and prioritise audit work across clients, ensuring adherence to firm standards, managing complex areas, and maximising efficiency and budget adherence.Monitor progress, manage workload, resolve issues proactively, ensure audit files meet quality standards, and handle billing and workflow systems (APS).Act as main contact for a portfolio of clients, maintain regular communication, attend key meetings, and ensure client compliance requirements (AML, KYC, etc.) are met.Supervise and support audit teams, delegate tasks effectively, provide feedback, and contribute to training and development initiatives.Facilitate access to audit clients for other internal teams, promote cross-selling of services, and support internal communication and referrals.Contribute to growth through networking, attending pitches, supporting marketing efforts, and developing new business opportunities.
