Audit Senior Manager - Accountancy Practice Winchester, Hampshire Hybrid Working Competitive, based on experience A leading accountancy practice in Winchester is seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to join its growing audit team. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a qualified auditor looking to take ownership of client relationships, lead complex audit engagements and support the strategic development of the audit function. The Role
Lead, plan and deliver statutory audit assignments for a varied client portfolio Manage and grow key client relationships, acting as a senior point of contact Review audit files and statutory accounts to ensure compliance with UK auditing standards Lead and mentor Audit Managers, Seniors and junior staff Support Partners and Directors with audit strategy, quality control and growth initiatives Monitor budgets, recoveries and audit KPIs Oversee audit planning, risk assessment and completion meetings Support business development, proposals and tender work Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice
Candidate Profile
ACA or ACCA qualified (essential) Extensive UK audit experience within an accountancy practice Currently operating at Audit Manager or Senior Manager level Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards Experience managing and reviewing complex audit engagements Proven leadership, people management and mentoring skills Excellent client-facing and communication abilities Commercial mindset with the ability to contribute strategically
