TPF Recruitment is currently representing a leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in Southampton, offering an exciting opportunity for anyone with circa 2 years' auditing experience, gained within a practice environment.\n\nYou will engage with a diverse portfolio of audit clients, including owner-managed businesses, corporate entities, and non-profit organizations.\n\nWorking closely with Audit Managers and Audit Seniors, you will play a key role in managing and delivering audit assignments in the Southern region.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSupport the management and delivery of audit assignments, from planning through to execution.\n\nPrepare audit reports and other client deliverables, fostering strong relationships with clients and acting as an ambassador for the firm.\n\nPlan assignments, including budgeting and analytical reviews.\n\nAttend stock takes and other on-site audit activities.\n\nPrepare financial statements under FRS102 and IFRS.\n\nIdentify, research, and resolve technical issues.\n\nWork with other service lines to benefit clients and refer opportunities.\n\nAssist and mentor junior team members.\n\nAttend training to develop and maintain technical skills and pursue professional qualifications if not already attained.\n\nRequirements\n\nMinimum of 2 years in audit, gained within a practice environment.\n\nWorking towards ACCA, ACA, or Level 4 AAT.\n\nStrong communication skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and technical proficiency in UK GAAP, ISAs, and Companies Law.\n\nExperience with owner-managed businesses.\n\nProficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\n\nFull UK driving license and access to a vehicle for travel to client sites.\n\nBenefits\n\nSalary circa £30,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualification status.\n\n24 days' annual leave + bank holidays.\n\nStudy Support.\n\nAdditional Holiday Purchase Option.\n\nHealth Cash Plan.\n\nQuarterly Functions and Events.\n\nRegular Training and Development.\n\nPlease contact Joe Potter on (phone number removed) (tel), (phone number removed) (mob), , or via  for a confidential conversation. \n\nRefer a friend...\n\nWe’re keen to remain the leading provider of the best accountancy talent in the South-East.
