TPF Recruitment proudly represents a prestigious leading firm of Chartered Accountants, headquartered in Southampton, currently seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to join their thriving Audit & Assurance team.\n\nAs an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior for our client, you will be instrumental in driving their audit services forward. We are seeking someone who shares our client's passion for delivering excellence in audit and wider services.\n\nThe successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality audit and accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nConducting audits in accordance with auditing standards and statutory requirements.\n\nPreparing financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports.\n\nAssisting in the planning and execution of audit engagements, including risk assessment and testing.\n\nLiaising with clients to gather relevant information and address queries.\n\nIdentifying areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within audit and accounting procedures.\n\nDeveloping strong working relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure effective collaboration.\n\nKeeping abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments affecting audit and accounting practices.\n\nSupporting senior team members in various ad hoc assignments and projects.\n\nRequirements\n\nPart-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.\n\nPrevious experience in a similar role within a reputable accounting firm.\n\nSolid understanding of auditing principles and financial reporting standards.\n\nStrong analytical skills with attention to detail.
