Audit Manager or Senior Manager

My client is a Top 30 professional services firm with a specialist audit team dedicated to supporting a wide range of charities and not-for-profit (NFP) organisations. Their clients include membership bodies, international NGOs, social enterprises, schools, institutions, and arts and culture charities. This role offers the option of term-time working, providing flexibility while supporting the team during peak periods.
They are now seeking an experienced Audit Manager / Senior Manager to oversee a portfolio of NFP clients, supervise audit teams, and provide technical guidance and quality review. The role involves regular client interaction, team development, and collaboration with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of charity and NFP clients
• Liaise with Directors/Partners and clients to plan assignments
• Brief, supervise, and review audit teams
• Oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts
• Provide technical support and resolve client queries
What You'll Need:
• ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience managing audits for charity, education, or NFP clients
• Strong communication skills and a supportive leadership style
• Ability to develop junior team members and foster positive client relationships
• Passion for working with purpose-driven organisations
