Audiologist - Private Clinic & Hospital Partnership

Employment Type: 4 or 5 Day Pattern – 09:00 – 17:30

Compass Associates are proud to be exclusively supporting a highly respected independent audiology clinic in Bristol, currently seeking a qualified Audiologist to join their established team. This is a flexible, patient-focused role involving work across both a modern clinic and a partner private hospital – located within walking distance of each other in Bristol.

The clinic is open to offering either a 4-day or full-time position, depending on the preferences and availability of the successful candidate. Working hours are Monday to Friday only. No Weekends.

The Role

This is a clinically diverse audiology position with a strong diagnostic focus. You’ll work with adult patients in both a private outpatient setting and a hospital environment, delivering services face-to-face and virtually. Key responsibilities include:

• Comprehensive diagnostic audiology assessments
• Tinnitus and balance rehabilitation support
• Wax removal via microsuction (training can be provided)
• Reporting to and communicating with GPs and ENT consultants
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Rotating between clinic and hospital settings

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• BSc or MSc in Audiology (not Hearing Aid Dispenser-only qualified)
• HCPC registration
• Previous clinical NHS experience strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a private clinical environment
• Confident in managing patients who are self-funded or privately insured

Desirable:

• Training in microsuction
• Experience with vestibular testing
• PBLS certification

Hours & Salary

• Equivalent to £52,500 for full-time (5 days)
• Statutory pension
• 33 Days Annual Leave
• Flexible self-employed or employed contract options available
