AV Technician (Live Event Production)
Ongoing success and a strong pipeline of projects mean 2026 looks very good for this event production company, who have a great reputation for providing outstanding technical production for a range of live events in UK and Europe.
They have a well-deserved reputation for their technical expertise, reliability, design, and creativity, and are now seeking an ambitious and passionate AV Technician to join their team.
Your Role
Your role will see you working on various event projects at different venues, mixing your technical acumen with a deep level of customer care.
You will work closely with the Project Managers, taking responsibility for the maintenance and testing of audio, video, and lighting equipment right through to the onsite delivery set up and operation.
As an AV Technician you’ll enjoy being a technical sounding board for the MD and Project Manager when help is required to design and spec key technical elements for each event.
Communication, teamwork, and ambition are intrinsic parts of your personality. You have an acute passion for events, the related technology, and a keenness to continue developing and learning.
About You
- A clear technical production background within live events
- Experience setting up and operating least two of the following Audio, AV, or lighting.
- A good understanding of power & data distribution
- Excellent fault finding and trouble shooting skills.
- Full clean drivers licence
