This role involves a mix of hands-on installation, programming, and mentoring junior team members on-site. You'll be working closely with our project managers to lead AV installations, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.\n\nYou should be comfortable working directly with clients, building strong relationships, and collaborating with other trades on-site.

Attention to detail, professionalism, and a passion for delivering outstanding results are essential for this role.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead AV and smart home installations on client sites\n\nInstall, commission, and program high-end AV and home automation systems\n\nInterpret wiring schematics and technical drawings\n\nBuild, install, and test AV racks\n\nConduct troubleshooting and fault-finding on-site\n\nMentor and manage junior engineers during projects\n\nMaintain strong client relationships and ensure a seamless installation process\n\nWhat The Client is Looking For:\n\n✅ Strong practical skills and understanding of construction techniques\n✅ Excellent problem-solving abilities and fault-finding skills\n✅ Ability to interpret wiring schematics and technical drawings\n✅ Good IT/networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routers, access points)\n✅ Strong client-facing and communication skills\n✅ Experience with Control4, Crestron, or similar automation systems (programming experience is a bonus)\n✅ Hands-on experience with AV installations, including video matrix systems, lighting control, and networking solutions\n✅ Familiarity with brands such as Lutron, Rako, Blustream, AVPro Edge, Ubiquiti, and Ruckus\n✅ Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel\n✅ CEDIA or AVIXA certification (advantageous but not essential)\n\nWhat They Offer:\n\nCompetitive Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)\n\nPerformance-Based Bonus\n\nCompany Pension\n\nCompany Vehicle\n\nOngoing Training & Development\n\nOpportunities for Career Progression in a Growing Company\n\nWork Environment & Flexibility:\n\nStandard hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (with flexibility based on project requirements)\n\nOccasional overnight stays may be required (kept to a minimum)\n\nDynamic and supportive team culture, with a strong focus on collaboration and career development\n\nThis is more than just a job - it's an opportunity to be part of a growing and innovative company in the fast-evolving world of smart home technology.
