Due to growth and increasing demand for our services, we are now looking for a skilled and dynamic Audio Visual Field Service Engineer to join our team.
Role Overview: As an AV Field Service Engineer, you will be the face of our company, providing on-site support, maintenance, and installation services to our clients. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring the optimal performance of a wide variety of AV systems, including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, digital signage, and more. This is a field-based role that will involve travel to client sites, so flexibility and excellent customer service skills are key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain AV systems and equipment, including projectors, audio systems, video walls, and digital signage. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair AV equipment to ensure smooth operation. Provide on-site support for both hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Conduct regular maintenance checks and ensure all equipment is in working order. Deliver professional and clear communication with clients, ensuring they are informed of any issues or required upgrades. Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed on-site.
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in the AV industry, with a solid understanding of AV systems, both hardware and software. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently. Experience working with a variety of AV systems, including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing solutions, and control systems. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Full UK driving license (or applicable to your location). Previous experience in a field-based role is desirable. Certification in relevant AV or IT qualifications (e.g., CTS, Crestron, Extron, etc.) is a plus
