Your new role
You'll join a specialist cyber and data risk team, advising clients on data breaches, cyber incidents and related regulatory and disputes issues. The role involves leading matters from an early stage, working closely with technical experts and engaging directly with clients, often in fast‑moving and sensitive situations.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified solicitor with experience in contentious, regulatory or risk‑focused legal work, ideally within commercial disputes, professional liability or a related practice
• A genuine interest in cyber incidents, data protection and technology‑driven risk, with a desire to build depth in this developing area
• Experience managing matters with a degree of autonomy, including leading workstreams and handling competing priorities
• Confidence in dealing directly with clients and other stakeholders in sensitive or high-pressure situations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and pragmatically
• Sound judgement and an awareness of when to escalate or seek support from senior colleagues
• An ability to remain calm, organised and responsive in fast‑moving, time‑critical matters
• A collaborative and collegiate approach, with a willingness to share knowledge and support team development
• Adaptable mindset and openness to change, with a proactive approach to learning and professional development
