Associate Urban Designer role based in Manchester, focusing on UK urban regeneration and masterplanning projects. You will lead complex town centre and mixed-use developments from concept through planning stages. This position suits an experienced designer with strong regeneration expertise and leadership capability. The role supports delivery of large-scale schemes within the UK planning system, offering hybrid working with regular studio collaboration.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead urban design projects from concept to planning Manage programmes and project delivery requirements Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams effectively Develop design proposals for regeneration schemes Engage with clients, stakeholders, and consultantsYou will also support bids, contribute to business development, and mentor junior team members. The role involves producing high-quality design outputs using industry standard tools.
Skills & Experience Required
At least 5 years UK urban design experience Strong masterplanning and regeneration background Experience leading projects through planning stages Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, 3D software Knowledge of UK planning policy and processesA relevant qualification in urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, or planning is required. Strong communication and team collaboration skills are essential.
Salary & Benefits
