With minimal supervision, plans, conducts or monitors experiments, records and organizes data, analyses results, generates robust and reliable data and/or ensures that contracted studies are conducted in compliance with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Following established experimental design and protocols and performing routine tasks and studies to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision.
Planning, monitoring or conducting, analyzes and records experiments, and provides interpretation of data.
Working efficiently in a matrix team environment and collaborates with coworkers.
Communicating data and interpretation to work group.
Effectively using systems to ensure quality data.
Executing assays using standard laboratory equipment (e.g. HPLC, UHPLC, CE, pH, viscosity, HIAC).
Effectively trouble-shooting equipment and experimental difficulties.
Contributing to internal/external reports, papers, presentations, regulatory documents, invention disclosure submissions and/or patents.
Participating in department-wide support efforts such as safety, recruiting and committees.
Potentially training staff.
Coordinating and organizing resources needed to complete experiments.
Understands when to seek input and when to make independent judgments.
Basic Qualifications:
Masters degree OR Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
Perform experiments, organize data and analyze results under minimal supervision.
Purity characterization by chromatography
Working in a group setting
Experience working with proteins
