The Role

You will work on a diverse range of matters, including:

• Sponsor-backed leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings
• Unitranche, second-lien, and mezzanine structures
• Direct lending and bespoke credit solutions
• Cross-border syndicated loans and intercreditor arrangements
• Restructurings and liability management exercises

The work is highly international, with frequent collaboration across global offices on multi-jurisdictional mandates. Associates are encouraged to take ownership of drafting and negotiation, gaining real responsibility from day one.

What They’re Looking For

• NQ–2PQE, qualified in England & Wales
• Strong training in finance or corporate transactions
• Excellent drafting skills and technical fundamentals
• Intellectual agility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Genuine interest in private credit and sponsor-driven financings

Desired but not essential:

• Experience in leveraged finance or direct lending
• Exposure to restructuring or high-yield transactions
