Associate Mechanical Engineer - Data Centres
Location: London United Kingdom
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: Up to £100,000 per annum
As an Associate Mechanical Engineer specialising in Data Centres, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems within data centre facilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and engineering of mechanical systems for data centre projects Provide technical expertise and guidance on HVAC, cooling systems, and energy efficiency Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and performance evaluations Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre design and construction Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, cooling technologies, and energy management Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Professional engineering license (PE)
