About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Associate Electrical Building Services Engineer to join a dynamic Building Services Engineering team. In this key role, you will deliver innovative and sustainable electrical design solutions across a range of projects, including commercial, education, healthcare, residential, and bespoke developments.
As an Associate, you will take ownership of the electrical engineering design from initial concept through to completion, leading a team and ensuring the quality and compliance of all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical building services design across projects from concept to completion.
Coordinate electrical engineering with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, and sustainability teams.
Produce technical design deliverables, including power distribution, lighting, LV systems, fire alarms, data/communications, and EMC.
Provide technical advice, optimise designs, and deliver value engineering solutions.
Mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
Support business development activities, including proposals and client engagement.
What We're Looking For
Chartered or working towards Chartered status (e.g., CEng, IET, CIBSE membership).
Extensive experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy or multi-disciplinary environment.
Strong understanding of UK building regulations, standards, and sustainability targets.
Proficiency in design tools and modelling software.
Excellent communication, organisational, and collaborative skills.
