We're working with a well-established and highly respected construction consultancy in London that is looking to appoint an experienced Associate Project Manager to join their growing team. The business partners with forward-thinking clients to deliver complex and prestigious developments across a range of sectors from retail, through to commercial, combining technical excellence with clarity and creativity.
This role offers exposure to landmark projects, clear progression to senior leadership, and the opportunity to shape how projects are delivered within a collaborative and people-focused consultancy.
Key Responsibilities - Associate Project Manager:
Lead and deliver high-quality project and programme management services across all project phases. Act as a key client-facing lead, providing trusted advice on cost, programme, risk, and strategic decision-making. Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary consultant and contractor teams, driving collaboration and performance. Build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships through clear, proactive communication. Prepare and present detailed project documentation, including programmes, risk registers, and progress reports. Develop and implement robust project delivery strategies aligned with client objectives. Support business growth by contributing to bids, proposals, and client development initiatives. Mentor, manage, and support junior and mid-level team members, helping to develop future talent.Requirements:
A recognised Project Management qualification (APM, RICS, or equivalent) or working towards chartership. Strong experience delivering projects within a construction consultancy or similar environment. Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage stakeholders at all levels. Solid understanding of industry best practice in Project and Programme Management. Experience managing projects from inception through to completion, both pre- and post-contract. Sound knowledge of JCT contracts. Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
