Job Description
Lead Technical Services\n\nDivision: Service Delivery & Security\nReports to: Director Infrastructure Services\nDirect Reports: 6\n\n \n\nWhat you become a part of\n\nAs Lead Technical Services, you will play a critical leadership role within BPT (our internal IT function), providing both disciplinary and technical direction for our global Technical Services landscape. You will oversee SAP platforms, database services, batch management, integration services, and vendor‑supported capabilities that underpin operational excellence across CCEP.\n\nYou will collaborate closely with peers across BPT towers, operational teams, and global stakeholders to ensure that Technical Services remain stable, secure, and high‑performing. This role directly supports the reliability of our core enterprise systems and the seamless integration between SAP and connected applications ensuring continuity for CCEP’s global operations.\n\n \n\nWhat you will do\n\nService Leadership & Delivery\n\nEnsure stable, efficient and effective global service delivery operations across all BPT Technical Services, technologies, and platforms.\n\nManage all activities required to achieve agreed service levels and operational outcomes.\n\nOversee SAP Basis operations, ensuring high availability, reliable maintenance, proactive monitoring and continuous enhancement of SAP systems.\n\nLead database services covering performance, stability, administration, and infrastructure alignment for SAP and related environments.\n\nManage batch management services including monitoring, maintenance, job scheduling and execution.\n\nLead integration services across multiple platforms (e.g., SAP PO, WebMethods, SAP CPI, SAP CI DS, SAP SLT, Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft), ensuring timely monitoring, alerting, maintenance, enhancements and issue resolution.\n\nMaintain continuous collaboration with other BPT teams and related stakeholders across CCEP globally.\n\nEnsure timely resolution and communication of operational disruptions related to SAP systems, databases, batch services, and integration platforms.\n\nContinuous Improvement & Governance\n\nDrive ongoing improvement across cost efficiency, service quality, stability, and delivery timelines.\n\nWork with governance boards (e.g., Change Advisory Board) to ensure controlled, compliant and risk‑aware service delivery.\n\nDefine and implement procedures for monitoring, controlling and analysing service performance against SLAs and service requirements.\n\nUse relevant monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., AppDynamics) to maintain visibility of system health and performance.\n\nDevelop, implement, and maintain resilient service continuity and information security procedures.\n\nVendor & Budget Management\n\nSelect and manage external service providers, working closely with Procurement and other IT towers.\n\nImplement operational vendor‑management procedures to ensure optimal delivery and commercially sound outcomes.\n\nPlan, manage and report on the functional budget, ensuring alignment with business priorities.\n\nPeople Leadership & Capability Development\n\nLead the continuous professional and technical development of team members.\n\nFoster collaboration, regular knowledge exchange and the ongoing enhancement of skills and capabilities within the unit.\n\nBuild and sustain a high‑performing team culture across geographically diverse locations.\n\n \n\nWhat we expect from you\n\nQualifications\n\nDegree in business administration, information management or a comparable field.\n\nAdvanced training in IT Service Management (e.g., ITIL), SAP or related areas is desirable.\n\nStrong economic and commercial literacy.\n\nExperience\n\nMinimum 8 years’ experience in SAP Basis Administration or comparable roles.\n\nExperience leading and developing large‑scale, internationally distributed teams.\n\nStrong background in IT service operations with deep expertise in SAP Basis processes, SAP technologies, and integration solutions/architectures.\n\nUnderstanding and/or experience of integration technologies including Web Services, EDI, and APIs.\n\nExperience managing large‑scale projects in global environments.\n\nKnowledge of sourcing strategies, provider selection, and vendor management.\n\nExperience across key areas such as:\n\nIT Service Management\n\nInfrastructure Services\n\nITIL processes (Incident, Request, Change, Configuration)\n\nDevOps management\n\nSAP R/3, SAP HANA, SAP BTP support\n\nIntegration technologies and platforms\n\nKnowledge of bottling‑specific business processes and on‑site operations.\n\nExperience with budget planning (ABP) and delivery of programmes on time, in budget and to required quality.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present effectively at all management levels.\n\nDemonstrated creativity in solution‑finding and implementation.\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nStrong knowledge and experience of SAP Basis and CCEP SAP platforms (SAP R/3, SAP HANA, SAP DB2, Redwood).\n\nDeep understanding of CCEP’s enterprise architecture, particularly SAP and Integration domains.\n\n \n\nWe are Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) – a dedicated team of 42,000 people, serving customers in 31 countries, who work together to make, move and sell some of the world’s most loved drinks.\nWe are a global business and one of the leading consumer goods companies in the world.
