Proactively captures business requirements for changes to systems and processes, working across the business and Digital teams, translating requirements into system solutions.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing detailed understanding of existing business processes, together with the supporting systems functionality and data.
- Partnering with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and subject matter experts, working in collaboration to across engines.
- Capturing business requirements in a clear and unambiguous fashion using standard methods and templates.
- Creating and defining process maps as-is and to-be business process flows.
- Translating business requirements into clear functional systems requirements.
- Challenging business and technology stakeholders to find more efficient and simpler solutions.
- Acting as a thought leader, providing external perspective of best practice and/or innovation from other sectors.
- Directing the delivery of smaller projects (design, build, test, handover) where a dedicated Project Manager is not required.
- Providing performance management, technical and career development and coaching.
- Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have:
- Managed 3rd party supplier teams.
- Direct line management experience.
- Experience of offshore delivery models.
- Considerable people leadership and stakeholder management experience.
Experience of requirements capture.
Process mapping.
Previously worked on multiple technology projects, ranging from less than £100k to £1m+.
