We have an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful Growth & Structured Finance team, providing outstanding support and having a real impact for SME & Mid Corporate businesses across the UK. The team has been growing since 2023 and is a meaningful part of our strategy for 2025 and beyond. We're looking for an Associate DirectorMand to help originate, structure, and implement more complex/leveraged debt facilities for SME & Mid Corporate clients and prospects across a variety of sectors. The team will transact a range of funding requirements which vary in complexity, including management buy‑outs, mergers & acquisitions, and growth funding where the bank does not see lending covered in full by traditional assets. What you’ll be doing
Form part of a team alongside Directors for complex transactions, прокурат overseeing the client, credit and diligence/legal processes to ensure successful deal completion. Assess, structure, and lead new business proposals for lower‑risk transactions with incremental support from Directors. Prepare and analyze financial models to a high standard, ensuring numeric accuracy, stressing assumptions, and identifying risks. Collaborate closely with colleagues in the SME and Mid Corporate Relationship teams, supporting up‑skilling and opportunity identification within the existing client base and the external market. Grow market presence and relationships with debt advisors and the professional community to support origination activities.
What you’ll need Prestream> Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, including cash‑flow analysis and stress testing. Experience operating optimally within the SME and/or Mid Corporate segment. Excellent written communication skills for producing concise, accurate credit papers. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines. A proactive mindset with a strong appetite to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.
