The Role A senior leadership position ideal for an experienced operations or staffing focused manager from a high-volume temporary labour or event background. You’ll be accountable for UK operations managing a growing head-office team, leading client workforce planning, service delivery and compliance. Reporting to the overseas-based owner and working closely with Sales and Staffing operations Managers, you’ll have the autonomy to drive results from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of temporary staffing operations, including recruitment, workforce supply and planning and post-event debriefs
- Client focused to ensure event teams are deployed efficiently, briefed, and performance-ready.
- Partner with Sales and Ops teams to support the successful growth of client accounts and live activations
- Monitor profitability, performance metrics, and operational KPIs
- Represent Flair at executive-level client meetings, proposals, and strategic reviews
- Triage issues to deliver solutions throughout the business.
- A leader ready to take full ownership of a branch and drive long-term success
- Strong operational and strategic decision-making capability.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership or director-level role specifically within people managment and ideally in events, hospitality, or logistics
- Deep understanding of workforce planning, live event logistics, and client relationship management
- Solutions-driven and people-focused
- Proactive, control freak organsiation level.
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and reporting platforms
- Visibility at the top table from day one, with influence over company-wide decisions
- Competitive salary: £55,000-£70,000 DOE (6 mon review)
- Performance bonus tied to revenue and profitability growth, with potential to earn £10,000-£15,000 based on results in year 1. Uncapped possibilities.
