Job Summary
My client is seeking to hire an Associate Director, who will play a pivotal role in driving performance and delivering high-quality property management services across a varied portfolio. The successful candidate will act as an ambassador for the business, leading by example, serving as a trusted figure for colleagues, clients, occupiers, and service partners.
You will demonstrate a strong understanding of the commercial and financial impact of your work, ensuring your contribution aligns with wider business objectives. A key part of the role will involve nurturing and strengthening client relationships, delivering consistently high levels of satisfaction and supporting long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver property management services to a high standard across a diverse portfolio
Work closely with senior colleagues to identify and implement service improvements
Support and mentor junior members of the surveying team, embedding best practice across the business
Actively contribute to the delivery of company strategy
Ensure compliance with Property Management and Duty of Care Agreements
Carry out and document regular property inspections, following up on actions proactively
Collaborate with clients and consultants to support sustainability initiatives and ESG objectives
Provide trusted advice to clients on landlord and occupier matters
Build and maintain strong relationships with occupiers, professional teams, and stakeholders
Hold regular occupier meetings to maintain service standards and address issues promptly
Work closely with client accounting teams on budgets, service charges, and reconciliations in line with RICS guidance
Prepare and manage service charge budgets in compliance with the RICS Service Charge Code
Advise clients proactively on service charge performance and value for money
Partner with facilities management colleagues to ensure full statutory and operational compliance
Key Skills & Competencies
MRICS qualification preferred
Minimum of 6 years’ commercial property management experience
Strong leadership and people management skills
Advanced financial, budgeting, and forecasting capability
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving ability
Strong knowledge of property law and lease administration
High standard of client and occupier relationship management
Strong understanding of ESG considerations within property management
Self-motivated with a commitment to high-quality delivery
Clear, confident, and engaging communicator
Highly organised with the ability to manage complex workloads
Flexible approach to working patterns
Excellent knowledge of the commercial property sector and evolving market trends
Able to work autonomously while remaining connected to the wider team
Salary
Up to £80,000 + benefits and strong bonuses
