Our Opportunity
Are you an Associate Civil Engineer with extensive experience in Water? Are you looking to lead and shape a Water team within a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy? At Pick Everard, we have a vast pipeline of work including Severn Trent Water, Thames Water, HS2, Yorkshire Water, and the Government of Jersey. As we continue to grow in this area, we are looking to expand our Water senior management team and appoint an Associate / Associate Director to join our Water Engineering team in London.
In this role, you will work closely with the Director to ensure the highest standards of design and client service are achieved within the discipline, focusing on improving productivity, efficiency, standardisation, and consistency in our deliverables. You will be responsible for delivering Framework outputs, specific projects, coordinating project resources, preparing proposals, and ensuring commercial delivery. Additionally, you will support the discipline's business plan targets through developing new and existing business relationships, supporting Directors, and managing teams.

About You
Our ideal Associate / Associate Director Civil Engineer must have:
- A relevant degree with significant experience and skills in the UK Regulated Water Sector.
- A professional qualification (Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council).
- Ability to foster a team environment, ensuring support and confidence for team members to deliver projects.
- Experience managing complex clients and large teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
It would be beneficial if you also have:
- Membership in relevant professional bodies such as ICE, CIWEM, IHT.
- Self-motivated, friendly, efficient, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in QA governance and risk management.
- Commitment to CPD and strong software skills.
