Associate Director, Benefits Realisation Application Deadline: 6 January 2026 Department: Commercial Operations Employment Type: Permanent Location: Sheffield Compensation: £67,500 - £75,000 / year Description Location: Sheffield / Hybrid Working (Expectation that you will attend an office 2 days per week) Contract: Permanent Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri) Salary: Up to £75,000 depending on experience THE ROLE This is a strategic leadership role responsible for maximising the impact, efficiency, and outcomes of the organisation’s resourcing, projects, sourcing and procurement activities. You will lead the development and implementation of benefit tracking and realisation strategies that go beyond compliance—ensuring public money is spent effectively and that every financial transaction delivers measurable value. A key focus will be the end‑to‑end and sustainable realisation of benefits from commercial activity, including financial savings, social value, and improved service outcome. With substantial senior‑level experience in project, procurement, commercial, or sourcing activities, ideally within a public sector or regulated context you will be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of holding stakeholders to account in relation to strategic commercial activities. Proven expertise in benefits realisation, commercial impact tracking, and value‑based decision‑making is also essential as is a deep understanding of public procurement frameworks, project methodologies, sourcing policy, and contract management best practice.
