Joshua Robert is working with a high-growth, market-leading property consultancy that is seeking to appoint an Associate Director – Building Surveyor to join its established and expanding Bristol team.

The Role

As Associate Director, you will take responsibility for delivering a broad and engaging portfolio of work across commercial and mixed-use assets. The role has a strong emphasis on professional building surveying services, including technical due diligence, dilapidations, contract administration, and project-led instructions. You will act as a trusted adviser to key clients, oversee the quality and delivery of work, and play an active role in mentoring and developing junior surveyors within the team.


This is a strategically important hire for the business and would suit an experienced surveyor who is ready to take on wider leadership responsibilities, contribute meaningfully to business development and team growth, and progress toward Directorship in the short to medium term.


About You

  • MRICS qualified with a strong track record in commercial building surveying
  • Currently operating at Senior Surveyor or Associate level, with experience leading workstreams or teams
  • Confident in managing and growing client relationships, with a commercial mindset
  • Ambitious, proactive, and motivated to take the next step into a more influential leadership role
