Assistant Store Manager Do you want to join one of our exceptional management teams and help drive consumer experience in one of our stores? We’re looking for a passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our Vans team based in Braintree Village. As an Assistant Store Manager, your input will be vital in supporting your Store Manager and contributing to the success of your store. Driving sales and profitability in synergy with your Store Manager. Motivating, mentoring, and coaching sales associates. Assisting with implementing established retail processes and continually seeking improvement. Maintaining core retail operational procedures such as inventory, P&L, and other processes. Reporting performance metrics and demonstrating understanding of KPIs to improve store results. Ensuring the store meets visual merchandising guidelines and looks great. Providing cover in the Store Manager’s absence.
Qualifications
Enjoy interacting with customers and set a great example for the team with a hands‑on mentality, enthusiasm, and passion for a fantastic customer experience. Take initiative when the Store Manager is absent – a hallmark of a great Assistant Store Manager. Create a strong team that shares passion and vision, mentoring employees and celebrating their growth. Experience in opening and closing a store, leading and motivating a team, and driving sales and productivity. Excellent written and verbal communication in English (additional languages are a plus). Proficient in MS Office and various POS systems. Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
