Assistant Store Manager at Rowen specialising in Retail Operations and Customer Service. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in our luxury homeware concept store at the Metrocentre. Support the Store Manager with the day to day running of the store and delivery of key performance targets Deliver an outstanding customer experience at all times, driving sales and conversion Lead by example as a confident and inspiring role model with a genuine passion for Rowen products Implement and maintain high visual merchandising standards in line with company guidelines Liaise with Buying, Merchandising and Warehouse teams to resolve stock queries and maximise availability Maintain exceptional store standards across fixtures, fittings, lighting and overall presentation Identify and maximise commercial opportunities through effective stock management and regular checks Build strong relationships with colleagues, customers and teams across the wider business Support scheduling, task planning and achievement of store objectives Carry out regular one to ones and performance reviews, supporting development and progression Uphold health and safety standards and ensure procedures are followed at all times Plan and support initiatives to attract new customers and build loyalty Take responsibility for running the store in the Store Manager’s absence
What you will need
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within retail Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a team A commercial mindset with good organisational and problem solving skills A positive, enthusiastic and self motivated approach Resilience and the ability to work calmly under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A strong customer service background and passion for delivering great experiences
