Base pay range Competitive salary – up to £30,000 About the Role As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager and lead a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced, high‑volume retail environment. Your role will focus on people leadership, performance management, and operational excellence – with clear progression opportunities into Store Management. Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of a department and step up as Duty Manager when required Support the Store Manager in delivering KPIs: sales, shrinkage, and wage control Drive exceptional customer service and team engagement Oversee stock control, merchandising, and compliance standards Ensure Health & Safety procedures are always followed Analyse store data to identify areas for improvement and growth
What we’re looking for
Proven experience as an Assistant Manager (or similar level) in a fast‑paced retail environment A hands‑on leader who thrives on the shop floor and motivates others Strong organisational and communication skills Passionate about customer service and hitting targets Proactive and eager to develop into a future Store Manager
