About the Role
Our stores are the life and soul of our business. They act as our main touch points with our ever‑evolving consumer base. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in achieving high standards, leading by example, embracing our entrepreneurial spirit and inspiring their teams.
Responsibilities
Lead store teams to generate sales, profit, minimize losses and create the best possible customer experience while maintaining visual distinction and pristine store conditions.
Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve performance through collaboration.
Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives for both sales floor and back room.
Work with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication between VM and store teams.
Partner with store management to build on business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives.
Emphasize quality relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring staff accountability in building a repeat customer base with spirited service.
Conduct daily and weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels and inventory.
Communicate to the Store Manager what is driving sales, discuss priorities, and develop strategies to maximize business with weekly visual presentation action plans.
Analyze store‑level reports and create action plans to improve results.
Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes, recruiting a broad range of perspectives and experiences.
Work with the Store Manager to build bench strength for key positions, identifying potential successors.
Participate in weekly management meetings and staff meetings.
Clearly communicate store and individual sales goals, performance expectations, results, and guidance for improvement.
Provide a great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery shop results.
