A quality-focused housing developer seeks an Assistant Site Manager for a traditional housing development in Derbyshire. This role involves providing support to the Site Manager to ensure that new build housing projects run smoothly, safely, and on schedule. The position requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes in traditional build homes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works progress according to programme and quality standards. Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow and minimise delays. Monitor health and safety compliance on site, ensuring all activities adhere to statutory regulations and company policies. Support the Site Manager in site inspections, reporting, and maintaining site documentation accurately. Liaise with stakeholders, including clients and consultants, to address queries and resolve issues promptly. Contribute to risk assessments and method statements to support safe working practises.
