Assistant Site Manager\n\nValid Forklift (Telehandler) driving qualification – essential\nNewcastle upon Tyne\n£40,000 to £50,000\n\nWe are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Assistant Site Manager to join a busy construction project in Newcastle. This role will support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and to programme.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for someone with site supervision experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional construction environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Assisting the Site Manager with the daily management of site operations\n\n * \n\n Supervising subcontractors and trades to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard\n\n * \n\n Coordinating deliveries, materials and site logistics\n\n * \n\n Operating a forklift when required to support site operations\n\n * \n\n Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times\n\n * \n\n Conducting site inductions and supporting toolbox talks\n\n * \n\n Monitoring progress and reporting any issues or delays\n\n * \n\n Maintaining site records and assisting with documentation\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Previous experience in a construction Assistant Site Manager / Site Supervisor role\n\n * \n\n Valid Forklift (Telehandler) driving qualification – essential\n\n * \n\n CSCS Card\n\n * \n\n Good understanding of site health & safety procedures\n\n * \n\n Strong organisational and communication skills\n\n * \n\n Ability to work well with subcontractors and site teams\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary based on experience\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work on a well-managed project\n\n * \n\n Supportive team environment\n\n * \n\n Potential for career progression
