Assistant Site Manager\n\nWillmott Dixon are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join our Yorkshire team. This is a hands-on Assistant role supporting the Site/Senior Site Managers to manage the day-to-day site operations.\n\nWe're recruiting due to a strong pipeline of work in the Yorkshire region having recently secured some high value & exciting projects.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\nAs an Assistant Site Manager at Willmott Dixon, your key responsibilities will include:\n\nEstablishing standards of quality on site and ensure delivery of a quality build in accordance with the project specifications and project requirements.\nAdopting the principles of the Considerate Constructor's Scheme and manage community relationship\nEnsuring appropriate site image is maintained to encourage repeat business.\nUndertaking the works in the most economic manner to eliminate waste and avoid non recoverable costs and preliminaries losses.\nMonitor and work to agreed preliminaries budget\nProducing and developing project programmes and control operations to achieve delivery of the project on time.\nOrganising the works and supply chain to provide the right working environment to avoid disruption between trades.\nUnderstanding the client priorities and adopt a professional and considerate approach to maintain good working relations\nMaintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management\nManaging project handover and ensure defect/snag free completionEssential and Desirable Criteria\n\nEssential Criteria\n\nExperience in site management\nProven experience in managing supply chain relationships\nA current CSCS card and SMSTS certificate\nValid Driving Licence\nFirst Aid at work certificate\nAbility to accurately interpret programmes, drawings and technical specifications\nExperienced in use of Microsoft programmes; i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook and Project.Desirable\n\nExperience of Field view (or similar construction software)\nConstruction related degreeAdditional Information\n\nIn return for your hard work, we offer a competitive package that includes flexible benefits to fit your lifestyle and priorities.
