A leading Tier 2 contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their Bristol team, delivering major high‑rise projects as part of a long‑term regional pipeline. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business known for technical excellence, strong project delivery, and a collaborative site culture.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for day‑to‑day site operations on a large‑scale high‑rise development. You’ll ensure work is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards, coordinating subcontractors and supporting the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily site operations on a major high‑rise project Manage subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently Maintain programme, quality, and H&S standards Coordinate blockwork packages and ensure sequencing is followed Lead site inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks Work closely with the Project Manager and commercial team Ensure compliance with Tier 1 processes and client expectations
Essential Experience
Proven experience as a Site Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor Strong background in high‑rise construction (residential or commercial) Demonstrable experience managing blockwork packages Excellent understanding of H&S, quality control, and programme management SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
